Metroidvania Month Jam Day 8-11


Day 8-11:

It's been a bit  since my last update but I've been busy fixing small things and working on the town level.

I've been working on a lot of art recently, primarily the tileset for the town and the merchant NPC.

I've also gone back and updated some of the code since I have a better idea on how I want everything to flow. I had a second look at my flow graph for the slime enemy and it now reliably works how I intended when its hit by the player. 

It's definitely been a great learning experience on all fronts and I'm looking forward to fleshing out the game a bit more.

In the coming days I hope to either create the rest of the core game so that its complete from start to finish, working on a new enemy type with my new found knowledge I've gained from the slime or finally giving the player walking/jumping animations.
