Metroidvania Month Jam Day 3-5


Day 3-5:

This weekend was a bit busy but I managed to create a simple enemy that can walk left, right and can be damaged and destroyed. It was my first time setting up a state machine in Unity so it took a bit to understand how to trigger different states and how to get back to an original state. I'm looking forward to refining this enemy a bit and maybe adding a couple more types of enemies.

I also made a quick attack animation and a new pickup for when Heart is in his glamour form, the wind gust. I'll be using the feather projectile for when he is in his natural form.

Next up I'm hoping to work on adding dialogue and Hearts assistant Ophelia to the game. Maybe a touch of messing around with a parallax background.
